Classy Catan Coasters
It's the holidays, and if your board game collection is anything like mine, you have a huge and diverse assortment of games. I've got miniature games, war games, dice games, Euro games, card games and much more. But out of the hundreds of games that I own there are only a small percentage of those that make it to the gaming table week after week. Settlers of Catan is one of those games.
It's easy to learn, easy to play and a whole lot of fun. This is why it is always being played. It's everyone's favorite. In fact, many players are obsessed with it, buying Special Editions made of wood, or with 3D land pieces. Not to mention all of the Catan inspired merchandise like mugs.
Well, for people like you and me, these hardwood Settlers of Catan coasters fit right into our obsession. The coasters are classy and represent the five resources that everyone fights over in the game. (Why do people trade. Never trade guys. You are only helping the enemy. Just don't do it. That's my motto. I never trade. This is a pet peeve of mine. Can you tell?)
It’s All About Resources
You've got wood, sheep, ore, brick, and wheat, all beautifully laser cut on a variety of hardwoods like maple, walnut, and cherry. The set is also available in African Mahogany. They measure about 3 1/2 x 4 inches. Break these bad boys out at game night and watch everyone be impressed. They're almost too pretty to use.

They make a great gift for board game fans, but obviously get a set for yourself first. This would also be a great prize if you want to hold a Settlers of Catan competition. Knowing that this is the prize, I'm willing to bet that play would be fierce and heated.
Fine. I’ll Trade!
They are also the perfect size to give as stocking stuffers during Christmas since it is the season of giving. In fact, I think I'll get a set for myself because they are just too lovely to pass up. Though, in this case, I would be willing to trade for once. I'll trade you 2 brick and a sheep for this set.
